Trevor at Remland Carpets got in touch with us back in 2015, requiring help initially with PPC & SEO.

We provided consultancy at that time and helped him with the foundation of SEO for the site, and steer on optimising the PPC campaign.

We pushed them towards a responsive site, and provided a new site design and brand identity for their development team to implement.

After the success of the new site, we decided to ramp up the involvement, and really got to work in July 2017.

What were the current challenges?

Remland Carpets had a few different companies handling search engine optimization [SEO] and pay-per-click [PPC] efforts but they weren't doing a great job. They were keen to work with a company that could collate those services and produce some great results in the process.

What was the scope of our involvement and what did we change?

We tackled the whole digital marketing strategy. We like to leave no stone unturned when it comes to digital.

Our initial focus was on fixing any obvious errors. The PPC campaign instantly became more granular and it became clear early on that we had some technical SEO issues.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

"I can’t speak to the technical details of their work but I know that they've done a brilliant job. We’ve seen a huge leap in online sales—up about 120% from when they started—and we're spending less now than before. Our real costs have come down but the return has more than doubled. The rebranding has helped us develop more of an identity as a company separate from that of the brands we sell. You can't ask much more than that so we’re very happy."

How did Discoverable perform from a project management standpoint?

They communicate well and get things done. We used Slack to communicate when things were getting to a crucial point on a project. Other than that, I would send them an email or call them as needed. They explain things in real terms that I can grasp rather than techno speak.

Discoverable always met deadlines and some of them were very tight. Given that our website is an e-commerce site, we can’t afford to have any downtime. They did a great job under intense pressure when we launched the updated site.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They never say “we should have done this” or “we could have done that.” Discoverable always looks ahead and lets us know what they are going to do and what they will be doing. They're up to date with the latest Google search criteria so I feel confident that I'm getting very good advice.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We’re really happy so I can't think of anything they could’ve done better.
