Our Own Beauty Brand

After doing some research to find other niches we could try our hand at, we spotted a gap in the beauty and personal care market.

In 2023 we launched Bareroot and decided to sell some newly trending products in the space; namely rosemary oil for hair, a hair wax stick and a scalp massager.

We created the brand and designed the website around promoting these hero products. Instead of developing a lot of content depth, there was a lot of focus put into the product pages template and optimising them for conversion rate.

Then we started PPC efforts towards the website - and it went well! Despite not actively putting a lot of effort into SEO, we also started gaining some organic traction on core terms around individual products.

What About The Results?

There’s no questioning that our efforts were successful! When combining sales from both our paid and organic traffic, we quickly sold out of our entire first batch of products.

We’ve since not had the opportunity to replenish our stock levels (due to being so busy with client work and other projects!) but hope to revisit this again in the future.
